IT’S THE JANITORS VS. THE BAD GUYS IN AUGUST BURNS RED’S “BLOODLETTER”

BAND TO EMBARK ON HEADLINE TOUR THIS FALL

Lancaster five-piece AUGUST BURNS REDJB Brubaker [lead guitar], Brent Rambler [rhythm guitar], Matt Greiner [drums], Jake Luhrs [lead vocals], and Dustin Davidson [bass] — have built a long, successful, and Grammy-nominated career by making angry music for happy people. That credo fully manifests in the video for “Bloodletter,” where some serious grocery store shenanigans happen.

Cleaning crew hijinks —and rocking out!— ensue when the janitors take on the bad guys in the “Bloodletter” video. Watch it here.

“‘Bloodletter’ is hands down the heaviest song on Guardians and maybe one of the heaviest songs we’ve ever done, so we figured it would be the perfect soundtrack for inadvertently foiling a robbery,” says Rambler. “We had a blast making this video, so we hope you have a blast watching it!”

“Bloodletter” appears on 2020’s Guardians

In other ABR news, the band also announced its Fall 2021 headline tour plans. The “Leveler 10-Year Anniversary Tour” kicks off on September 9 in Philadelphia and runs through October 31 in Sayreville, New Jersey. All dates are below. Also appearing are Fit for a King, Erra, and Like Moths to Flames. Get tickets here.

ABR also released Leveler: 10th Anniversary Edition. The band re-recorded its fourth album, which was originally released on June 21, 2011, with special guests, brand new guitar solos, alternate tunings, and more. Get it here.
