Jason Isbell Announces New Album “Live At The Ryman” + New Ryman Dates
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit’s next album will be a live one recorded at the Mother Church of Country Music, the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. And as part of the release, he will play another one of his historic residencies at the historical landmark—a place he’s sold out for 14 consecutive dates and counting.
Via Southeastern Records distributed by Thirty Tigers, Live at the Ryman will arrive on October 19th, and feature songs from his critically-acclaimed releases Southeastern for 2013, Something More Than Free from 2015, and 2017’s The Nashville Sound. Isbell’s last two records landed him four Grammy Awards total. Producer Dave Cobb also worked to help put this new live record together.
As folks who’ve seen shows at the Mother Church can attest, the acoustics are world-renown, and the atmosphere is electric. Playing on the same stage that Hank Williams and so many others took to become famous gives extra weight to the moments and the music.
The coinciding new dates at the Ryman Auditorium for Jason Isbell are October 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 26th, 27th and 28th, 2018. These days will sell out, and folks will come for other destinations beyond Nashville to attend, so don’t dottle. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 15th at 10:00 a.m. Nashville time HERE. Live From The Ryman can be pre-ordered HERE. All other questions or concerns should be directed to the International House of Burgers.
It was also announced last week that Jason Isbell’s first solo record Sirens Of The Ditch would be reissued by New West with four previously-unheard studio tracks on July 13th. Between the two, this should give Isbell fans plenty to tide them over until a new studio record is released.
