THE JUNGLE GIANTS’ HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW LP LOVE SIGNS OUT NOW

NORTH AMERICAN TOUR KICKS OFF FEBRUARY 2022
July 23, 2021—Australian four-piece The Jungle Giants’ highly anticipated new album Love Signs is out today, written and produced entirely by lead singer Sam Hales. Listen HERE, and check out the limited-edition neon vinyl LPs via the band’s merch store HERE.
The band—one of Australia’s biggest independent acts—will be returning to North America for an 8-city tour kicking off February 2022. Complete list of dates below and more info/tickets HERE.
“It’s about these little messages we send each other, love signs,” Hales explains of the record. The album features title track “Love Signs” which debuted via FLOOD, as well as ARIA-Certified Platinum track “Heavy Hearted,” “In Her Eyes,” Treat You Right” and “Sending Me Ur Loving,” which was lauded by KCRW as having “exquisite hooks and pristine production,” with Vogue also naming the track one of the Best Songs of 2020. Three of the singles have placed in Triple J’s Hottest 100 so far.
The Jungle Giants’ 2020 world tour found the band in the United States, Mexico, Japan, UK, Netherlands and France just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March. With further touring cancelled and strict lockdown in Australia enforced, Hales focused his efforts on writing and recording the band’s forthcoming album. Hales found himself embarking on new, creative risks, inspired by the likes of Timbaland and Ashanti in his ‘90s production style and vocal falsettos.
“Its been a really good process, really self-affirming,” Hales says of making Love Signs. When you trust in your ability, and you trust in your heart, and just be really honest, thats the best feeling in the world.”
The group consists of Sam Hales, lead guitarist Cesira Aitken, bassist Andrew Dooris and drummer Keelan Bijker. Together they have released three LPs, Learn to Exist (2013), Speakerzoid (2015) and Quiet Ferocity (2017). They have amassed over 350 million combined streams worldwide to date and counting.
