Just finished reading the LA Times, I for one, back the idea of a new Ghostbusters movie, where’s the petition? With the various studios trying to garner attention for both individual projects and people, how many can actually say they’ve seen ½ of the shows. In this dog and pony show? And given the enormous talent, luck, timing and so forth that goes into a successful venture these days in Hollywood, what happened to letting the product do the talking? If Laurence Fishbourne doesn’t get nominated, what has he lost?
No one can dispute his amazing talent, he’s already got the respect of his peers, what?
Sports Sports Sports…..What do Manny Ramirez and Lebron James have in common? Both are leaving very poor examples of all Things in the spot light. Manny’s alleged use of enhancing substances will never be fully explained, {at least not to everyone’s satisfaction} but really, does it matter? Manny has the opportunity to be something more important the leader on the LA Dodgers. Given the demo graphics of Mannywood, how many children can he educate and possibly save their lives by showing by example what happens when you make a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes, its part of human nature, not too many people have the tools and opportunities to make an impact as a human being then Manny. Years after Manny’s hit his last home run, hung up his spikes, and left the game that’s been so good to him, somewhere a child who idolizes Manny, will want to become a baseball player, and he will be given a choice to use drugs, if he decides to go down that path, and fate decides to punch his ticket earlier then expected, due to drugs, what will Manny have to say then?
It’s easy to understand Lebron’s frustration at losing to Orlando, but in every sporting event there is a winner and a loser, that’s just the way it is. Besides every great player {including Michael Jordan} faced defeat before tasting success, but Michael never disrespected the game, himself, his team, his home town, anyone by showing such blatant unsportsmanlike conduct after a loss. The city of Cleveland already has a bad enough rap {unjustly deserved}. Given the amazing season the Cavaliers have had, why put such a stain on the memory of that success? Now we can expect the P.R. driven “I’m sorry” speech, somewhere his advisers are having a stroke. If Lebron truly feels That way, he’ll stand by his word, don’t count on it, there’s too much money and all that goes with it at stake.
Is there such a thing as a “Drama Free” stripper? I ask this because I saw an ad in a strip club, for a room mate, and that got me to thinking…. I must apologize to those Porn stars who got offended when I asked what about what “anything” meant, what gave them the idea I was talking about them anyway? Why do people who go to strip clubs to see and meet their favorite Stars always ask: “Are you in this?” When she tries to sell them one of her dvd’s? Why would a stripper get upset when asked what she wanted in a man, and responds: ‘I don’t want to be hustled.” Speaking of Hustled, is it a good sign or bad sign when a promoter is trying to attach himself to no less then 3 separate gigs in separate venues in the same night… Also, just out curiosity, can anyone name 3 current “hot” performers making their mark in the Adult industry? Alright 2…
