Mia Isabella Comes Full Circle at Urban X Weekend

Mia Isabella is arriving in Los Angeles with more than an awards-show appearance on her schedule. The adult-industry icon is entering Urban X Weekend as an event sponsor and a nominee in two categories: Best Transgender Performer and Fan Favorite Trans Creator.

For Mia, the nominations carry the weight of history. She was the first trans woman to win Urban X Trans Performer of the Year and, in 2017, became the first trans woman inducted into the Urban X Hall of Fame. That same year, she co-hosted the ceremony alongside Anna Fox, Misty Stone and Jada Stevens.

“It’s a full-circle moment to be nominated two times this year,” Mia says. “I look forward to the awards this year, and fingers crossed my fans will be voting for me. I love you all.”

The 2026 Urban X Awards take place Sunday, August 16, in Los Angeles, capping a full weekend of events celebrating diversity in adult entertainment. This year’s ceremony is hosted by Ivan and Chocolate Goddess, with Mia planning to attend the weekend festivities leading into the show.

The weekend is also personal. Beyond the nominations and sponsorship, Mia sees Urban X as a reunion with performers who have become family and with the fans who have supported her through every stage of her career.

“This weekend is very special to me,” she says. “It’s a time to reconnect with the performers who have become very much like family to me and to say hello to the fans who have supported me all of these years. The Lingerie Party and James Bartholet’s Day Party are going to be the bomb. See you there!”

Born and raised in Chicago, Mia entered adult entertainment at 19 and built a career marked by awards and barrier-breaking crossover appearances. Her voice appeared in Grand Theft Auto V as “Hooker Number One,” and she later appeared in the final season of FX’s Sons of Anarchy.

After retiring as a performer, Mia returned to the industry in 2016 and continued directing, producing and starring in her own work through her official website. Her media appearances have included The Jason Ellis Show, Neil Strauss’ The Inner Circle, Sex With Emily and other radio, podcast and live-show platforms.
