Princess Jezebel Brings Grassroots Fire to Record London Trans+ Pride

The London dominatrix joined an organizer-estimated 150,000 marchers for a celebration rooted in protest, access and trans solidarity.

LONDON — Princess Jezebel joined an organizer-estimated 150,000 people at London Trans+ Pride on July 25, stepping into a record-setting sea of signs, chants and trans solidarity under the theme “Our Future, Our Fight.” For the London-based professional dominatrix, the scale was exhilarating, but the purpose remained unmistakably political: trans people and their allies were there to be seen, heard and taken seriously.

That distinction matters to Jezebel. London Trans+ Pride presents itself as a grassroots demonstration rather than a corporate parade, and she believes its prohibition on corporate sponsorship or representation protects the march from the pinkwashing she associates with the larger Pride in London event. She also noticed more young trans people in the crowd than ever before, including attendees who had travelled from across England for the rare experience of being surrounded by tens of thousands of people who understood why they had come.

“Trans Pride is joyous, but it is a protest, not a party – we are fighting for our rights,” Jezebel said. “There was a definite atmosphere of activism, but also the euphoria of being surrounded by tens of thousands of trans people who understood why we were there. It showed exactly why so many of us favour this grassroots movement over the main London Pride parade.”

Chants of “Trans rights are human rights” and “Stand up, fight back” moved through the march as rights-focused speeches reinforced the day’s political edge. British Sign Language interpreters and free water also reflected an emphasis on access and community care, making the event feel less like a branded spectacle and more like a movement looking after its own.

The 2026 march was held under a theme built for the moment. London Trans+ Pride’s official site identified the July 25 demonstration as the world’s largest annual gathering in support of trans, non-binary, gender-nonconforming and intersex lives, while published coverage repeated the organizers’ estimate of 150,000 participants. The turnout figure remains an organizer estimate rather than an independently audited count, but the event’s scale was widely described as record-breaking.

Jezebel brings a particular perspective to that conversation. She is a London-based professional dominatrix, psychological sadist and expert humiliatrix whose work centers on high-protocol domination and bespoke psychological play. Before moving into that work full time, she worked in the touring music sector; she now also runs a community for trans and non-binary BDSM professionals across the UK and Ireland and speaks publicly about trans identity, fetish culture and life in modern Britain.
