The Pony Clubs regional manager helps challenge common assumptions about lifestyle businesses in Nancy “AF” Shenker’s panel episode.
NEW YORK, N.Y. — Mike Dickinson, the Strip Club Cowboy and regional manager of the Pony Clubs, joins Nancy “AF” Shenker on The Age Blind Podcast for “The Vice Squad,” a panel discussion focused on dispelling myths surrounding lifestyle-oriented professions.
The episode brings Dickinson together with a kink consultant and a CPA specializing in the cannabis industry, using their firsthand experience to examine businesses that are frequently discussed through stereotypes rather than their economic and cultural realities.
“What a wild crew! Hear from/watch a kink consultant, a strip club manager and a CPA who specializes in the cannabis industry,” Shenker said. “We bust the myths around this industry, which contributes at least $500B to our economy. You’ll never think about sex and drugs the same way again!”
Viewers can watch “The Vice Squad” on YouTube, while audio listeners can find The Age Blind Podcast through Apple Podcasts.
Dickinson entered the club business at 18 at The Candy Bar in Richmond, Virginia, and moved into management within weeks. During the next 15 years, he owned and operated several Richmond-area clubs before partnering with industry veteran Jerry Westlin in 2020 to expand Pony Clubs into Tennessee.
Known for ambitious promotions and headline-making events, Dickinson emphasizes in-person hospitality and human connection as advantages that digital platforms cannot replace. His role now combines regional leadership with marketing and guest experience across the Pony Clubs operation.
