Grooby Unleashes Four-Part Halloween Feature “Transexual Horror Stories”

LOS ANGELES — Grooby has released Transexual Horror Stories, a new Halloween-timed feature film directed by Bakari and available as a digital DVD through GroobyDVD.com. The production brings four separate horror narratives together under a single title.

The cast features Amy Nosferatu, Blake Lovely, Bobbii Rose, Esme Rogue, Naomi Whistledown and Viviana Rose. The project marks Bakari’s first feature as a director and represents an ambitious departure from Grooby’s more familiar productions.

“‘Transexual Horror Stories’ has truly been a labor of love,” says Bakari. “Over the past several months, our team has poured an incredible amount of time, energy, and creativity into bringing this project to life. As my first feature film, it came with plenty of challenges and learning experiences along the way, but I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished. I genuinely believe we created something greater than the sum of its parts.”

The anthology ranges from the romantic unease of Chasers, about a lonely trans woman seeking love in Los Angeles, to Client, in which an ambitious analyst makes a perilous bargain with three seductive demons. Each premise has its own tone and storyline.

Fanatic follows a content creator whose night with a fan uncovers hidden secrets. In Contract, an escort waits fearfully as a killer remains at large, before the truth emerges in the dark.

Bakari credits producer Blake Lovely with coordinating logistics and planning, Jake Switch with providing a location, lighting equipment and production support, and Naomi Whistledown with directing his first scene as a performer. The filmmaker described the finished work as a collaborative undertaking.

Grooby, founded in 1996, operates a catalog of more than 30 sites alongside DVD and streaming lines and is also the organizer of the annual Transgender Erotica Awards. Its new Halloween feature is offered for direct digital purchase.
