“As a survivor of sexual assault, this song and video mean a lot to me,” notes Poarch. “This is something I haven’t been ready to share with you just yet. It’s very hard for me to talk about. But I’m ready now. I decided to express myself by creating a song and video with Sub Urban based on how I wished my experience went. It’s a fantasy I wish was true.”
The groundbreaking track sets the stage for more music from Poarch to come soon as she’s gearing up to release her debut EP this fall.
In May, Poarch released her first single “
Build A Bitch,” which was produced by Sub Urban, to resounding commercial and critical acclaim. Upon its release, the music video for the song hit
#1 on the Global and U.S. YouTube video charts, marking the biggest debut ever for a new artist with over
75M views and more than
257M to date. At Spotify, the song peaked at
#26 on Top 200 Global and
#34 on Top 200 U.S. songs charts while the track has over
485M total global streams. The video also hit
50M likes on TikTok, becoming the first video in history to do so.

Bella Poarch is a Filipino-American singer and songwriter who served in the military as a teenager and has been quickly rising since breaking out on TikTok last year.
