Welcome Back Era is a collection of the music we’ve released with our friends since we’ve returned to independence, and of course a couple new things as well,” says Brasstracks’ co-founder Ivan Jackson. “We wanted to package all of these songs together to mark the chapter that is our re-introduction.”
Jackson furters, “When we parted ways with our label we were terrified, but we were quickly reminded of why Brasstracks exists in the first place. This is a family, one made by a community of the best fans in the world, and some of the most talented artists and musicians out there. Welcome Back Era is a celebration of our return to freedom of creation, and a celebration of all of you who keep this going. We can’t be sure what’s next, what it sounds like, or what it’s going to look like, but we couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come.”
Brasstracks recently wrapped an extensive run of headline fall tour dates with breakout artist TOBisupporting. The run of North American shows included sold-out performances at New York’s Irving Plaza, Los Angeles’ The Fonda Theatre, Boston’s Paradise Rock Club,DC’s Union Stage and more.
