Balmorhea shares live session and interview from “Live on KEXP at Home” series

Balmorhea has just shared a live session and interview with Seattle’s NPR-affiliate KEXP as part of their “Live on KEXP at Home” series, performing music from their acclaimed new album The Wind. You can check it out HERE – would love to have your support!

Today’s session includes performances of “Rose in Abstract,” “The Myth,” “Evening / Nos” and “Ne Plus Ultra” from The Wind along with “Remembrance” from the group’s 2009 album All is Wild, All is Silent. The Wind, out now via Deutsche Grammophon, comprises a dozen tracks inspired variously by meditations on the natural world and its fragility, an ancient tale about a saint who carried the wind to an airless French valley and thoughts of climate activist Greta Thunberg crossing the Atlantic; listen/share HERE.
