Los Angeles – With the frequent attacks on sex work and sex workers, it’s no wonder Cherie DeVille wants her voice to be heard. Cherie recently wrote two op-eds addressing these attacks this weekend, for both The Daily Beast and Mashable.
On Friday, The Daily Beast published “Why Does The New York Times Hate Porn So Much?”, Cherie opines the regular attacks on sex work and the many false connections to sex trafficking. She points out the fallacies in their latest op-ed, bringing down the myths perpetrated by the article’s author.
Continuing on that theme, Cherie was featured on Mashable.com this Saturday in her piece, “How To Support Sex Trafficking Survivors Without Harming Consenting Sex Workers”. Cherie starts off on how sex trafficking is a real issue, but again points out that it has nothing to do with legal pornography. She wants people to know that there are many ways to support real victims of trafficking.
“It’s clear that the attacks on consenting sex work are growing and getting more mainstream traction,” commented Cherie. “I know I have name recognition, so I feel it’s my responsibility to make the voices of sex workers heard. Thank you The Daily Beast and Mashable for allowing me to express my knowledge on the industry that I love.”
Cherie is a Brazzers exclusive contract star, and is represented by OC Modeling.
