 December 1, 2021—Today, rising London-based artist Kings Elliot releases her highly anticipated debut EP, Chaos In My Court, on Verve Forecast/Interscope. Listen/share HERE.
The EP features previously released songs “Call Me a Dreamer,” “I’m Getting Tired of Me,” “Dancing Alone,” “Bitter Tonic,” as well as new track “The Outsider;” Listen/share HERE.
“‘The Outsider’ is an anti-anthem for anyone who never fit in, and who felt like they were watching a world unfold before them, separated from everyone else’s reality.” Elliot describes, “There was one night in particular when I got dragged out by friends to a club… I was feeling like a pauper at the palace. I just sat and observed everything and I went home that night and started writing this song.”
“Chaos has been ever present in my life,” she explains of the EP. “I’ve never known how to function differently. The songs on this EP form a world I’ve always dreamed of creating for my own escape, and now anyone who needs it can join me there too.”
London-via-Switzerland singer-songwriter Kings Elliot has accumulated millions of global streams, as well as spins on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 and KCRW. The up-and-coming artist to watch has received praise from Consequence, Teen Vogue, Billboard, Clash, Wonderland, The Line of Best Fit, COLORS, Lyrical Lemonade amongst others, as well as seen social support from Reese Witherspoon, Dixie D’Amelio, Lewis Capaldi and Milky Chance. Her music has been added to a host of notable Spotify and Apple Music playlists.
Elliot has been diagnosed with borderline personality and anxiety disorders. She explores this and speaks openly about her battle through her music, even releasing accidentally filmed footage of herself having a panic attack for her music video “I’m Getting Tired Of Me.”
