Long-running Sacramento, California-based thrash metal crew PSYCHOSOMATIC today issues a massive accumulation of their back-catalog titles into the digital realm for the first time.

Nefarious Industries recently released the limited The Salinas Years box set, collecting PSYCHOSOMATIC’s back-catalog in one place, chronicling the first decade of the band’s storied career from 1988 through 1998. Limited to 100 units, hand-numbered and signed, the 4-disc set features seventy-two remastered songs, including unreleased material, digitally transferred by Shayne Stacy and mastered by Joe Johnston at Pus Cavern (Deftones, Will Haven, Sons Of Alpha Centauri), and is loaded with lyrics, photos, and full-color booklet featuring the artwork of PSYCHOSOMATIC’s founding member Jeff Salgado with design and layout by Greg Meisenberg.

With the box set now just a few copies from selling out, Nefarious Industries now purges all these titles into all digital services. This includes the 1990 demo tape …And Now You’ve Had It!, the previously unreleased 1991 demo Strictly Spastic, the band’s 1995 full-length debut Drunken Nights Of The Round Table featuring a live set recorded in Santa Cruz in December of 1994, the 1997 album Psychosatanic Drunkaholics, and the 1999 full-length Tales Of The Unbelievably Cheap.

Tune in and crush PSYCHOSOMATIC’s back-catalog on all digital platforms now through Nefarious Industries RIGHT HERE.

PSYCHOSOMATIC’s latest LP, The Invisible Prison, was produced, engineered, and mixed by David Sanchez (Havok) and mastered by Mark Lewis (Chimaira, Trivium, The Black Dahlia Murder). The record was released through Nefarious Industries at the height of the pandemic lockdowns to rave reviews. The band has since returned to touring and performing live with regularity, and this year, released a track through the compilation NEF100: Burn After Hearing, celebrating one hundred Nefarious Industries releases alongside the likes of labelmates El Drugstore, Gematria, Nequient, Zevious, Gridfailure, and more, where PSYCHOSOMATIC covered the Creedence Clearwater Revival track “Green River.”

PSYCHOSOMATIC’s current lineup – guitarist Brett Vaughn Rechtfertig (Havok), drummer Josh Mathis (Cyborg Octopus), and founding bassist/vocalist Jeff Salgado – is currently writing the follow-up to The Invisible Prison and will record and complete the album in the months ahead for a 2025 release. Expect new live dates and more to post in the meantime.
