Sherman Wayze: Can you tell me about your background before entering the adult industry?

Taylor Vixxen: Until the beginning of this year, I had almost 20 years of experience in corporate finance. I have an MBA and an accounting degree. I’ve held various executive roles in finance and sales at some large organizations. The corporate world is very different from porn – everything’s highly organized, especially the travel. I enjoyed my corporate career, but I reached a point where I was ready for something completely different.

Sherman Wayze: Did you do any modeling while working in the corporate world?

Taylor Vixxen: I really haven’t done much modeling. I’ve done a few photoshoots over the years, but nothing serious. Honestly, I wish I had gotten into this industry sooner. My husband and I have been in the swinger lifestyle for about seven years, and I missed the OnlyFans boom during COVID because of my corporate job. Being in the lifestyle, it’s a natural progression for many to start making content. At events, people would be collaborating or making videos, but I couldn’t participate due to my job. I considered doing masked content, but I decided to wait until I could fully commit to having my own accounts.

Sherman Wayze: For those unfamiliar, can you explain what “the lifestyle” means?

Taylor Vixxen: The lifestyle is essentially another term for swinging. It encompasses many different aspects and means different things to different people. Before I knew about it, I imagined something like the movie “Eyes Wide Shut” – masked parties that turn into wild orgies. Some parties are like that, but it can also be as simple as attending events to be around open-minded people, watching others, or just being intimate with your partner while others watch. There’s a whole spectrum of involvement.

Social media has changed the scene a lot, with many Facebook groups organizing events. You can find groups that match your preferences, whether it’s party-focused, hotel takeovers, or more intense experiences. There are clubs, events, and resorts worldwide catering to the lifestyle, and even companies specializing in lifestyle travel. It’s a great complement to porn, though I try to keep them somewhat separate. When I’m at a lifestyle event, I want to focus on having fun rather than setting up collaborations.

Sherman Wayze: Did you and your husband always have an open relationship, or did it evolve over time?

Taylor Vixxen: Neither of us was in the lifestyle before meeting. My husband has a background in music management, so he was familiar with it, but I knew nothing about it. We started by discussing fantasies, which was new territory for me. I was initially embarrassed and would focus on fantasies about women because it felt safer. It took time for me to feel comfortable expressing fantasies about men, but when my husband would describe scenarios involving other men, I found it incredibly arousing. He’s very good at painting vivid scenarios, and I still love that aspect.

Sherman Wayze: Does your husband enjoy you having sex with other men?

Taylor Vixxen: Yes, he does enjoy it. Just as I enjoy watching him with another woman, he enjoys those experiences too. We actually prefer bringing in a single male or female rather than couple swaps, as it’s easier to find a good connection. With couples, you need a four-way connection, which can be challenging. That’s why single-person scenarios often work better for us.

In the lifestyle, you sometimes encounter couples where the woman claims she’s only interested in other women, not men. While that’s true for some, it can be a red flag if it seems the arrangement is more about the man’s desires. What sets our relationship apart is that we both genuinely want each other to have enjoyable experiences. We love watching each other with others, which can be difficult in full swap scenarios where you’re trying to focus on your own experience while also wanting to observe your partner.

Sherman Wayze: How does collaborating for content differ from your swinging experiences?

Taylor Vixxen: I’ve been fortunate that everyone I’ve worked with professionally has been great. Even if it’s not someone I’d choose in my personal life, once we get to know each other and start shooting, it often turns into a great experience. I always try to find some common ground or interest to build a connection before filming, even if it’s just a few minutes of conversation.

I work with a lot of younger guys, which makes things pretty easy. There are many factors in choosing collaboration partners. I try to stick with people doing mainstream work like me, but I’ve also found great partners through apps like Tinder or even at bars. The lifestyle-type scenarios seem to be really popular, but I have to be careful about testing and safety protocols when working with non-industry people.

It can be challenging to arrange hookups for content, as people often get cold feet or don’t follow through. But when it works out, it can lead to some great, authentic content.

Sherman Wayze: Let’s discuss your online presence. Can you tell me about your various accounts?

Taylor Vixxen: I launched my OnlyFans and other platforms this year. My free page offers content purchases and provides more intimate glimpses into my life compared to Instagram or Twitter. My subscription page is $14.99, though I often run first-month specials. Subscribers get in-depth behind-the-scenes content, a deeper look into my daily life, direct chat access, and content discounts. I’m also beginning to explore live shows with new software.

Sherman Wayze: When creating content, do you focus on what you enjoy or what you think will sell?

Taylor Vixxen: I create content I genuinely enjoy. While I take requests and ask fans what they want to see, it has to feel good to me. I love sex, so I enjoy it all.

Sherman Wayze: Do you offer custom work?

Taylor Vixxen: Yes, especially solo customs. I enjoy stepmom and MILF roleplays, as well as dominant and submissive scenarios. I can handle some BDSM content too. While I haven’t done extensive custom work yet, I’m getting more into it as requests come in.

Sherman Wayze: What’s the most unusual custom request you’ve received?

Taylor Vixxen: The strangest request involved my Jeep. Someone asked if I ever hit things while driving, which led to them requesting that I run over various food items, film it, and send them the results. We’re talking about Honey Buns stuck in the tires, cookies, beef jerky, gum – all in 100-degree Florida heat. I boxed it all up and sent it to them.

Sherman Wayze: Have you received requests for more extreme content?

Taylor Vixxen: I’ve gotten some requests for content that isn’t allowed on certain platforms. When I first started my OnlyFans, I did a video that got flagged because I didn’t know the rules yet. But I haven’t really gotten many extreme requests since then. I do have my limits – certain things just aren’t my style.

Sherman Wayze: What makes for good content in your opinion?

Taylor Vixxen: There are different aspects to consider. Some scenes benefit from a setup or dialogue, even if it’s brief, to establish context. Lighting is crucial because viewers want to see clearly. I’ve done scenes with just two people on a bed and a stationary camera, which some fans love for its raw authenticity. Others prefer more produced content with multiple angles and close-ups.

The most important factor, in my experience, is that it looks realistic and that both performers are genuinely enjoying themselves. If it looks fake or like you’re just going through the motions, it shows. I’ve had collaborations where I felt the final product didn’t meet my standards, so I didn’t release it.

Ultimately, the key is that the performers’ enjoyment comes across as authentic, regardless of the production style.

Sherman Wayze: Do you have a preference for POV-style shooting or more traditional setups?

Taylor Vixxen: I like both styles. POV can be great for getting close-up shots, especially in certain positions. I’ve done shoots that were almost entirely POV, and they turned out really well when the partner knew what they were doing. On the other hand, I’ve had experiences where the POV filming wasn’t executed properly, and we had to reshoot.

I think every different type of shot has its place, and I enjoy mixing it up. The key is to communicate clearly about what shots are needed and to check the footage periodically to ensure you’re capturing what you want.

Sherman Wayze: How do you approach mainstream shoots versus collaborations?

Taylor Vixxen: For mainstream shoots, I focus on understanding the producer and director’s vision. I ask a lot of questions to ensure I grasp what they’re looking for in terms of demeanor, positions, and overall feel of the scene. I want to be easy to work with and help bring their vision to life.

With collaborations, while I still aim to create quality content, there’s often more flexibility and room for spontaneity. In both cases, my goal is to convey that I’m genuinely enjoying the experience. I’m not in this industry just for the money – I truly love sex and the fantasy aspect of it all.

The biggest challenge I’ve faced coming from the corporate world is adapting to the less structured nature of the adult industry. I’m used to having detailed information well in advance, but in porn, things often come together at the last minute. It’s something I’m still adjusting to.

Sherman Wayze: Has your perspective on sex changed since becoming a swinger and entering the adult industry?

Taylor Vixxen: Oh my gosh, it has changed so much. Before I was in the lifestyle and met my husband, I didn’t even like sex that much. I didn’t have fantasies or think about it often. Now, look at me! I think I’m making up for lost time. I really enjoy it now. I love fantasies and being able to explore different scenarios, whether in collaborations or mainstream shoots, that I wouldn’t normally experience in my everyday life. It’s so much fun. There’s still so much I haven’t done yet that I’m excited to try – I feel like a kid in a candy store.

Sex used to feel almost like a chore with previous partners, but now it’s completely different. There are so many aspects to explore, from passionate lovemaking to rough, animalistic encounters. I love all of it now, and I’m constantly discovering new things about my sexuality.

Sherman Wayze: What do you think makes MILFs so popular in an industry that often focuses on younger performers?

Taylor Vixxen: I think it’s partly about the taboo aspect and fantasy fulfillment. Every guy has probably had a fantasy about a sexy teacher, neighbor, or stepmom at some point. There’s something to be said for a woman who has lived her life and is doing this because she wants to, not out of necessity. It’s empowering, and I think that’s very sexy.

From my experiences with younger guys, they often say that older women know how to fuck and genuinely enjoy it. They appreciate that we can take control, show them new positions, and really know how to please a partner. It’s not just about the physical act, but the confidence and skill that comes with experience.

Also, the age difference creates a clear separation between fantasy and reality. There’s less chance of emotional complications because both parties understand it’s just a fun, temporary encounter.

Sherman Wayze: How would you describe yourself sexually?

Taylor Vixxen: I’d say I’m adventurous and a pleaser, but I’m definitely always looking to try new things. I enjoy it rough sometimes, but I think I’m a bit of a chameleon in that I can adapt to different situations and find pleasure in various scenarios. I’m constantly exploring and pushing my boundaries.

I think there’s a difference between my personal sexual self and my porn alter ego. The porn star version of me is definitely more of a “slut” in the empowering sense of the word – someone who fully embraces her sexuality and isn’t afraid to make any situation sexual. But in my personal life, I can be more reserved and intimate.

Overall, I’m on a journey of sexual self-discovery, and I’m loving every minute of it. Whether it’s trying new things in my personal life or pushing boundaries in my professional work, I’m always eager to explore and grow sexually.

Sherman Wayze: Which persona is the bigger “slut”?

Taylor Vixxen: Oh, definitely the porn star version. She’s quite the wild one.

Sherman Wayze: What does the word “slut” mean to you?

Taylor Vixxen: I don’t see it as derogatory, though it can be depending on who’s using it. To me, it’s similar to “vixen” – a woman who embraces her sexuality without shame. It’s about being empowered and unafraid to make any situation sexual. It’s someone who can find sexual connotations in various scenarios and isn’t afraid to act on them.

Sherman Wayze: As we enter awards season, what would you do to win an award?

Taylor Vixxen: That’s a tough question. Part of me doesn’t want to win something I haven’t earned. But I also love giving pleasure, so if I could win an award and give someone pleasure, that’s tempting. Ultimately, though, I want to earn recognition through my work and talent, not by compromising my principles.

Sherman Wayze: Have you ever been caught having sex?

Taylor Vixxen: Yes, I have. My mom caught me once when I was younger. It was my first time, in a car. We’d skipped school and went back to my house. I think she drove up right at the end. I was absolutely mortified.

Sherman Wayze: Last question – aside from sex, what would you do to become famous?

Taylor Vixxen: Honestly, I’m just focused on working hard and networking. I’m doing all the things you’re supposed to do – connecting with the right people, collaborating, and creating quality content. I’m expanding my repertoire and trying to be more creative. The industry seems to be getting racier, so I’m pushing my boundaries. For instance, I’m considering anal scenes earlier than I might have otherwise because there’s demand for it. But mostly, I just put my head down and focus on improving my craft.

Sherman Wayze: Thank you for your time today.

Taylor Vixxen: Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!
