Cheerleader Kait Seeks Community Support After Tampa House Fire

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Award-winning performer Cheerleader Kait is seeking assistance after an electrical fire destroyed her Tampa home earlier this year, launching a GoFundMe campaign to help cover expenses left unpaid by insurance.

The spring 2026 blaze struck while Kait was inside the house. She escaped safely with her puppy but lost much of what she owned, including belongings and renovations accumulated over several years. Smoke and water caused additional damage.

Her fundraiser launched October 12 with a $15,000 goal. According to the October 28 announcement, the campaign had raised more than $9,000, and Kait is asking supporters to donate or share its link.

Kait initially expected insurance to pay for the recovery, but she says the coverage ultimately accounted for only about half the damages and expenses. Contributions are intended for temporary housing, clothing, essentials and other rebuilding costs.

“It’s been an incredibly difficult experience, and asking for help isn’t easy,” says Cheerleader Kait. “I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported me and helped me get through this. Every donation and every share makes a difference, and I’m hopeful that, with everyone’s help, I can start rebuilding and moving forward.”

The personal setback has coincided with significant professional recognition. Kait won the 2026 AVN Award for Best New Starlet and the 2026 XRCO Award for New Starlet.

Her recent credits include work for Jules Jordan Video, Vixen and Brazzers, and she was featured as BANG! Babe of the Month in August. She has also maintained her presence as an independent creator.

Kait continues to work and connect with her audience while dealing with the financial consequences of the fire. Supporters can find the fundraising campaign online and share it with others interested in helping her rebuild.
