Chloe Amour Reflects on Alcoholism, Mental Health and Recovery -

LOS ANGELES — Chloe Amour steps beyond her public persona in a deeply personal appearance on the Bamboo SZN Podcast. Joining host Dorian Warmley, she traces the experiences behind her sobriety, family relationships, mental health and 13-year career.

The episode, “Chloe Amour on Alcoholism, Mental Health & the Woman Behind Adult Entertainment,” reaches back to a childhood shaped by alcoholism and the independence Amour developed at an early age. It also follows her eventual confrontation with her own destructive relationship with alcohol.

Now 10 years alcohol-free, Amour speaks about the blackouts, arrests and dangerous situations that forced her to change course. She also addresses depression, complicated family dynamics and the patterns she carried forward into adulthood.

“This was a very personal conversation for me, and I really appreciated the space Dorian gave me to talk about parts of my life that people don’t usually hear about,” said Amour. “We got into where I came from, some of the choices and patterns I had to change and how much my life has evolved. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, so being able to share that side of my story meant a lot to me.”

The conversation also revisits Amour’s unexpected route from a Playboy shoot into adult entertainment. Her on-camera career began in 2013 shortly before her 22nd birthday, following attention she received from photos submitted to Playboy Plus under the name Chloe Michele.

After being scouted by a talent agency, the San Antonio native made her adult-film debut for FTV Girls on Easter Sunday 2013. She went on to work with studios including Brazzers, Evil Angel, Reality Kings, Girlfriends Films and Tushy while earning AVN and XBIZ nominations and developing a parallel presence in feature dancing, Playboy TV and radio.

Amour stepped away from the industry in late 2018 to concentrate on her mental health and wellbeing. That hiatus lasted five years before she officially returned in July 2023 and signed with OC Modeling.

Since returning, she has pursued new marketing and brand opportunities, including billboard and LED-truck promotions in Los Angeles and on the Las Vegas Strip, along with work involving Cameo, Intimaly, Mynx and JOI AI. Now based in Las Vegas, she continues shooting professional scenes, collaborating with creators and building her VIP OnlyFans.
