Cult Epics Presents ‘Rozz Williams Tribute’ Documentary Fundraiser in Hollywood March 15

Renowned art film distribution brand Cult Epics announces a special live musical event on Friday, March 15, ‘Rozz Williams Tribute’, to help raise funds for the development of an upcoming documentary about the late deathrock goth iconoclast, who took his own life in 1998.

Cult Epics founder/curator, Nico B, who famously directed the notorious Christian Death frontman in the 1998 short film Pig, which the director will screen during the event, will treat fans to performances from Williams’ former wife and musical collaborator Eva O, performing Christian Death and Shadow Project classics, as well as Symbolism (featuring Christian Death’s Rikk Agnew, James McGearty, London May of Samhain and Devix Szell of The Banishment), Gitane Demone and Paul Roessler performing selections from their new album New Young Kings of Midnight.

“We are so pleased to present this extraordinary tribute to Rozz Williams 26 years after his death to honor his legacy as a pioneering artist in the post-punk goth rock movement, with whom I had the pleasure of co-directing Pig,” says Nico B of the highly anticipated event. “His musical vision not only earned him reverence during his lifetime, but he also continues to inspire new generations of fans to this day.”

‘Rozz Williams Tribute’ is set to take place at the Masonic Lodge of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery at 7:00pm (6:00pm for VIP ticket holders – limited to 20 people – with perks such as a tour of Williams’ memorial site and cenotaph, meet & greet with band members during soundcheck and rare opportunity to have collectible items signed), with tickets available exclusively at Ticketweb.com/HF.
