Three years after opening its doors, the marketing and management company is celebrating another Best PR Firm nomination while preparing to expand into new digital and production ventures.

DJD Media Marketing & Management is heading into Urban X Weekend with momentum. The Las Vegas-based company, founded by adult-industry veteran Don Juan DeMarko, has announced its second consecutive Urban X Awards nomination for Best PR Firm—an impressive bit of recognition for an agency that opened only three years ago.
For DeMarko, however, the nomination is less about collecting another line for the résumé than it is about the people DJD Media represents. “What I do is all about my clients—they are what matters,” he said. “Seeing their growth and celebrating their victories is what drives this company every single day. We are building DJD Media for the future of adult entertainment and the passionate souls who make this industry what it is.”
That client-first philosophy has given the company plenty to celebrate. DJD Media points to an active roster that includes Reagan Foxx, Bo$$mane Dre, Brandi Swan, Red Bottom Productions and longtime client Richard Mann. Among the agency’s reported highlights, Bo$$mane Dre was named Best Male Performer of the Year at the 2026 AltStar Awards, while Brandi Swan received a Best New Starlet nomination for the 2026 NightMoves Awards. Richard Mann, an Evil Angel director and performer who has been with DJD Media since its beginning, is also identified in available award records as a member of the 2026 AVN Hall of Fame.
DJD Media’s next chapter may be its most ambitious. The company says a new website is in development and that plans are underway for a production studio operated with a trusted longtime collaborator whom DeMarko considers family. The move would bring him back toward production while expanding DJD Media beyond publicity and management into a more comprehensive creative operation.
The larger roster reflects that same mix of experience and forward movement. In addition to Mann, DJD Media names newly signed Shaundam Von Smakavitz, industry veteran Lynn LeMay, artist Lady Cinder and collaborators Ny Ny Lew and Stryker Knight Films featuring August Heat among the personalities and brands helping shape its direction. It is a deliberately varied lineup—established names, distinctive creators and developing talent gathered under a company that views independence as a strength rather than a limitation.
DeMarko’s path to agency founder began in editorial. He wrote for adult magazines and digital outlets before becoming an editor at XCritic.com, where DJD Media says he published more than 350 articles. His archived work later became part of Fleshbot’s online catalog. He also built a Snapchat following reported at more than 30,000 and co-produced a “Day in the Life” video featuring Emma Hix that the company says passed one million views.
Production followed. After moving behind the camera as a filmmaker and screenwriter, DeMarko formed DJD Media Productions and partnered with Little Dragon Productions on the When Girls Are Alone series. That experience helped crystallize the idea behind DJD Media Marketing & Management: give independent performers and producers the promotional support, strategic direction and representation needed to build careers on their own terms.
Now the company gets to celebrate that work with the wider industry. Don Juan DeMarko and members of the DJD Media roster are expected throughout Urban X Weekend, including official events involving Ny Ny Lew and Lex The Flame. The 2026 Urban X Awards are scheduled for Sunday, August 16, at 7:30 p.m. at The Regent Theater in Los Angeles. Tickets are available through TicketLeap and Ticketmaster.
