Ellis Camino Takes Mr. PYNK Into Post-Production as Industry Buzz Builds

LOS ANGELES — Ellis Camino has moved his feature film Mr. PYNK into post-production after completing principal photography, turning the next phase toward the edit, sound and visual identity of his most ambitious Pink For Ink project yet.

Written and directed by Camino, the film expands his tattoo-centered creative universe into a stylized feature built around crime-story tension, heightened characters, provocative performances and independent filmmaking. Production wrapped in August, with release details still to be announced.

The work now shifts from capturing footage to shaping the finished movie. Camino and his team are concentrating on pacing, sound, color, music and the way the project’s performances and cinematic sequences will connect as a complete feature.

“This is where Mr. PYNK really starts becoming the movie I saw in my head,” says Ellis Camino, writer-director of Mr. PYNK. “Production was the battle of getting everything captured. Now we’re taking all of that footage and building the story, the atmosphere and the world. I’m excited for people to finally see what we’ve been working on.”

Mr. PYNK represents a significant step beyond the original Pink For Ink concept, which Camino launched in late 2025 as an alternative approach to adult cinema. The new film blends the attitude of pulp and crime movies with stylized cinematography and the tattoo culture that anchors Camino’s creative identity.

The project drew industry attention during production, including coverage of its launch, casting search and August wrap. That early visibility has created an audience for the film before post-production is complete, while behind-the-scenes updates have continued to build interest across social media.

Before his work as a performer, creator and filmmaker, Camino spent approximately 14 years as a tattoo artist. With Mr. PYNK, he brings that background into a larger role as writer, director and the creative force responsible for an entire feature-length world.

No official release date has been announced. Trailers, interviews, stills and additional release information are expected as post-production continues, leaving the cameras finished but the final movie still being constructed.
