Emerging artist Isabel Dumaa unveils new song “Always Leaving You,” playing first NYC headline show 9/7

Rising singer-songwriter Isabel Dumaa debuts her new song, “Always Leaving You,”—listen/share the track HERE.
“I wrote ‘Always Leaving You’ about being in a relationship where you know you aren’t giving everything you should, and you want to change, but just can’t” Isabel details. “So many love songs are about being heartbroken or feeling discontent towards the other person, but there is this other side to that where you are the problem and wanting to fix it but not knowing how.”
“Always Leaving You” follows previously release single “Quarter Life Crisis,” which has received extensive praise. Listen/share HERE and watch/share the video HERE. The song was recently named “Song of the Day” by Minneapolis’s The Current.
“Quarter Life Crisis” has over 1 million streams across all streaming platforms. Since the song’s release, Isabel’s monthly listeners on Spotify have seen a dramatic increase of over 5000%.
In support of the new music, Isabel is set to play her first ever headline show in New York at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right next month.
Isabel began singing and songwriting at age eleven, going on to learn guitar, piano and ukulele. Upon graduating high school, she relocated to Los Angeles and in July 2022 released her debut single, “Call My Bluff,” a commentary on imposter syndrome, receiving flattering comparisons to Clairo, Remi Wolf, and Maggie Rogers. Her follow-up single, “Freshman Year,” garnered over 18 million views on TikTok, where she has amassed over 55,000 followers and 2.3 million likes.
Dumaa now works with talented professionals, including vocal coaches, producers, and acclaimed songwriters. “The more someone is willing to experiment, the more I love working with them,” Dumaa says. “In sessions, I’ll try anything, so having someone who is willing to play around with me is amazing.”
Last year, Isabel made her live performance debut opening for indie pop band Smallpools at The Roxy in Los Angeles to a sold-out crowd.
Look out for further music from Isabel coming soon.
