HERETIC PLAGUE: UK Death/Grindcore Duo To Release New Album, Context Is A Stumbling Corpse, Through Selfmadegod Records In April; “Bleeding Stump Marathon” Visualizer

From the fractured and hope-starved shores of the UK comes a new death metal/grind project, HERETIC PLAGUE. The band will release their debut album, Context Is A Stumbling Corpse, in early April through Selfmadegod Records who today issues the cover art, track listing, preorders, and lead single, “Bleeding Stump Marathon.”
HERETIC PLAGUE - Bleeding Stump Marathon
Blending a wide range of influences into a savage cocktail of extremity, HERETIC PLAGUE was created by guitarist/bassist Adam Watts, an original member of cult UK grind band Beef Conspiracy. He is joined by his former band mate Tom Bradfield who provides vocals and beats for the project. Bradfield is also a member of the bands Repulsive Dissection, Twitch of the Death Nerve, Infected Disarray, and operates the label Grindethic Records.
HERETIC PLAGUE’s Context Is A Stumbling Corpse introduces a vile brew of death-infused grind with horror aesthetics in the vein of Nasum, Cryptopsy, early Brutal Truth, and Pig Destroyer. The album was recorded at Grindethic HQ, mixed and mastered by Tom Bradfield, and completed with artwork and layout by Bradfield and Midjourney.
Context Is A Stumbling Corpse’s opening track, “Bleeding Stump Marathon,” also serves as the album’s first single. Bradfield writes, “The opening track to the album kicks things off with a bang, mixing together influences from brutal death metal and nasty grindcore, with a few hooks and grooves thrown in for good measure.”
