LOS ANGELES, CA — Entertainment industry veteran James Bartholet recently joined host Matt Slayer for an episode of And Now We Drink, available on YouTube and Apple Podcasts.
The conversation moves from old-school talk radio to current industry realities, award-show culture and grindhouse cinema.
Bartholet reflects on decades in broadcasting, lessons from the talk-radio era and why live callers can be both a ratings boost and a minefield.
He also discusses Scissors Chapter Two, Murder Motel, horror-convention appearances and his long-running program Inside the Industry With James Bartholet, along with behind-the-scenes stories from low-budget horror sets.
