Lia Lin Charts Her Journey From International Modeling to Awards, VR and Acting

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Lia Lin is looking back on a career that began in commercial modeling and now spans award-winning adult performances, immersive virtual reality and acting. Her progression across countries and production formats has been driven by a willingness to keep learning and try new opportunities.

Born in Brazil to a Filipino-Brazilian father and Russian mother, Lin spent substantial parts of her life in Russia before working internationally as a model. Fashion, jewelry and makeup campaigns gave her years of camera experience before she explored adult entertainment.

That foundation helped shape her approach to performance, including an interest in productions with cinematic and emotional depth. Her lead role in Lia’s Big Stepfamily brought her into a large-scale production with performer and director Rocco Siffredi, an experience she described as challenging, detailed and ultimately fun.

Her work also reaches immersive VR, with main character roles in DarkRoomVR’s Stepdaddy’s Girl, Badoink’s Coax with Strokes and Committed Thruple, and MentalPass’s Czech VR 670. Her work in the format earned a 2026 AVN nomination for Best VR One-on-One Sex Scene.

Industry honors include a 2025 AVN win for Best International All-Girl Sex Scene for headlining What is Love. She also won the 2024 XBIZ Europa Best Sex Scene – Lesbian award for A Shadow in the Room (Hentaied), with additional AVN and XBIZ nominations recognizing international performance, acting and VR.

“When I look back at how I started, I’m proud of how much I’ve grown, not just as a performer but as a person,” said Lia. “I’ve had the opportunity to work with amazing people, experience different kinds of productions, and discover new sides of myself along the way. I’m still learning, and I don’t feel like I’ve reached my destination yet. I want to keep challenging myself, exploring new opportunities in VR and acting, and seeing how far I can take my career. There are still so many things I want to try, and I’m excited about what comes next.”

Outside performing, Lin earned a degree in Marketology in 2019 and has worked in translation and IT. That education has informed the way she develops her public profile and social media, giving her a grounding in branding and presenting herself as both performer and creator.

Her career now includes work for major international studios alongside VR and an emerging interest in acting. Learning and experimentation connect those directions to the modeling work where she began.
