Mistress Marley Profiled in New York Times

Mistress Marley shares her experiences – and expertise – as a successful financial dominatrix in the profitable world of ‘findom’ with the New York Times in a revealing new article, ‘She Gets Paid Just to Humiliate Her Fans’.
The ‘Chocolate Domme’, who commands an impressive host of ‘finsubs’ to surrender their wallets to her in the form of monetary tributes that includes an ongoing exercise of humiliation and degradation, explains that the past year’s lockdowns have shifted her business from in-person sessions to virtual – and business is booming.
“So many people are thriving off of this industry online,” she tells NYT journalist Alexandra Weiss. “I know this because I’m thriving.”
After several months of research and preparation, Marley quit her fashion marketing job in 2018, set up social media accounts to formally announce her entry into the financial domination sphere, and posted a simple message: “Who wants to buy me lunch?” The Pro Domme’s devoted army of submissives have been lining up to pay her lunches ever since.
Marley’s fruitful career has inspired other would-be Dommes to flex their power and follow in her stilettos, leading to the launch of her 125+ member-strong collective, Black Domme Sorority – a supportive community that offers professional advice, guidance and emotional nourishment in order to positively thrive in such a competitive industry.
“For me, especially as a Black woman, I see my financial gains as reparations, because the majority, if not all of my clients, are white men,” she says in the interview, emphasizing a provocative post with a screen shot of her impressive CashApp balance emblazoned with a bold caption: “I’m never quitting my job.”
