Roux Takes Her Purple Porsche 911 GT3 RS to the Track at NJMP

NEW YORK — Roux finally put her purple Porsche 911 GT3 RS on a racetrack, bringing the car to Lightning Raceway at New Jersey Motorsports Park for Metro NY PCA’s high-performance driver education weekend. The outing completed a goal she had carried since purchasing the Porsche last November.

The instructed event in Millville, New Jersey, welcomed drivers with different experience levels and a range of cars. For Roux, it offered a controlled setting to begin understanding how the GT3 RS carries speed through turns while learning more about the car’s capabilities and the technical side of performance driving.

“I’ve wanted to track my GT3 RS since I got her last November, but I couldn’t find the time,” Roux said. The weekend gave her the opportunity to move beyond straight-line speed and begin developing the judgment required to handle the Porsche more precisely around a circuit.

Her enthusiasm for speed began long before the GT3 RS. “I’ve loved going fast and adrenaline-inducing hobbies since I was about four because of my dad,” she said. “He used to put me on the tank of his bike and do wheelies, and allegedly I would yell, ‘Faster!’”

That childhood appetite for acceleration has now become a more deliberate pursuit. “As an adult, I still love speed, but now I’m learning the ins and outs of handling it through turns,” Roux explained. The NJMP weekend represented an introduction to that process rather than a one-time thrill.

The social side of the event mattered as much as the machinery. “I also love the car community and getting to share the experience with other people,” she said. Metro NY PCA’s instructional format allowed her to combine the learning curve with the connections that have made car culture part of her broader creator identity.

Future track days will give Roux additional opportunities to refine her skills and deepen her understanding of the Porsche. The NJMP session stands as the first technical step for a creator whose public work already moves between lifestyle, travel, comedy, fitness, entertainment and car culture.

Based in New York City, Roux has built a cross-platform audience of more than 1.3 million followers. Her first GT3 RS track weekend adds another chapter to a creator brand grounded in direct fan connection and a willingness to bring audiences along for experiences beyond the usual studio setting.
