Studio Vanniall Brings Boi Hunter: Fox to Pornfilmfestival Berlin for Two Screenings

LOS ANGELES — Studio Vanniall’s Boi Hunter: Fox is headed to the 2026 Pornfilmfestival Berlin, where the 15-minute festival cut will screen twice in the Trans Porn Shorts program on October 21 and October 25.

Directed by Vanniall and Ashley Lake, the short gives the classic pick-up porn setup a T4T perspective, focusing on trans chemistry, desire and the feeling of being seen and wanted. The selection comes from the first episode of Studio Vanniall’s Boi Hunter series, planned to roll out during the year before culminating in a DVD.

The first screening is set for Wednesday, October 21 at 9:30 PM at Moviemento, with a second presentation Sunday, October 25 at 4 PM at Babylon Kreuzberg. “Berlin has been one of those festivals I’ve most wanted Boi Hunter to reach, so seeing it programmed twice in Trans Porn Shorts feels incredibly special,” said Vanniall. “The film plays with something very familiar and turns it into something specifically ours. We had a lot of fun playing fictionalized versions of ourselves as amateur pornographers, which felt like a love letter to myself a decade ago. I’m excited for audiences in Berlin to finally see it.”

Pornfilmfestival Berlin has presented independent, queer and sexually progressive cinema since 2006. The release describes this year’s Trans Porn Shorts program as a collection of films exploring trans desire, everyday realities, fantasy and T4T connection; Studio Vanniall previously screened Transit, co-starring Jiz Lee, at the festival.

“Boi Hunter: Fox was a ton of fun to film, something intentionally lofi amongst our much higher production launch lineup” said Ashley Lake, the cinematographer. “This first episode has a grungy country cruising feel mixed with some of our decidedly European influences on styling, nodding to some of our favorite source material in this genre. We can’t help our narrative impulses, though, so keep an eye on Studio Vanniall to see these budding pornographers grow, acquire better gear through dubious means, and get in some over the top trouble. After all, we plotted this out for a DVD!”

The planned Boi Hunter DVD is one of several Studio Vanniall launch series. The release also names Cockwife Next Door, Dickgirl After Dark, The MostlyPics House Season One and Cruising For Girlcock, with first episodes or streaming availability tied to the studio’s launch lineup.

Production Coordinator Jaq Quicksilver, based in Amsterdam and leading the studio’s European efforts, will represent Studio Vanniall at the festival. The release also notes Vanniall’s work as a performer, model, director and creator, her international screenings and television appearances, and Studio Vanniall’s international production activity.
