Southern California singer/songwriter David Ottestad’s music project The Workday Release has unveiled a gorgeous new music video for “Say A Lot With Light,” the lead single off of the forthcoming full-length album ‘Like The Light Of Stars.’ Entirely written and produced by Ottestad himself, ‘Like The Light Of Stars’ will be released on April 16 via Enci Records. I thought an interesting way to visually represent this was to have a glowing white orb as the symbol of self. I also wanted to portray the idea of protecting that symbol and had the idea to display the orb in a clear backpack, like keeping yourself safe while on a journey of searching. It was exciting getting to direct the video myself and we shot in downtown LA around 10pm so the streets were completely empty.
