LOS ANGELES — Vanniall is raising questions about social-platform moderation and the treatment of adult creators in a new WIRED report, “OnlyFans Creators Are Pissed That Meta Lets Muse Talk Dirty.” The report examines the contrast between restrictions affecting human performers and sexual conversation permitted through Meta’s AI products.

The performer and Studio Vanniall founder describes dealing with hyperrealistic AI imitations of her likeness while trying to keep her own accounts visible. According to the release, her Instagram profile has more than 125,000 followers but remains subject to restrictions; her production company’s account has encountered similar issues.
“There’s always some sort of report or appeal that I’m going through with them,” Vanniall told WIRED. Her account of repeated challenges illustrates the practical burden she says platform moderation places on independent creators.
The debate has sharpened with Meta’s Muse, described in the report as an adults-only AI agent that permits explicit text interactions. Vanniall argues that platform policies appear inconsistent when AI characters can engage in sexual exchanges while human creators face limits on their own expression.
“It’s not fair that they get to pull money out of people with their sexually active AI agent, but they won’t let real people, real adults, engage in any sort of sensuality or sexuality.”
Other creators quoted in the WIRED report discuss censorship, AI training, impersonation, deepfakes and content moderation. Vanniall’s concerns center on protecting her likeness, retaining audience access and sustaining a creator-owned business.
Her response to people considering Meta’s agent is unequivocal. “Stop downloading that app,” she said. “You do not need to give Meta any more money or any more of your personal information. They have enough.”
Vanniall launched Studio Vanniall in 2026 as a production company and subscription platform. The studio is booking professional talent through agents for 2026 production dates in Miami, Los Angeles, New York City, Western Massachusetts, Minneapolis, Amsterdam and London.
Originally from South Carolina, Vanniall uses she/they pronouns and works in New York City and Western Massachusetts. She has worked as a studio performer since 2019, following earlier years as a Tumblr-era on-camera creator, and has developed a career spanning performance, directing, modeling and digital publishing.
Her recognition includes an XMA award for Trans Premium Social Media Star of the Year, a Pornhub Award for Favorite Trans Performer, an XBIZ Cam Award for Best Trans Clip Artist and a Trans Erotica Award for Pornhub Model of the Year. She has also received honors across AVN, XBIZ, XMA, TEA, YNOT, Urban X, Pornhub and BCAMS, and has presented or conducted red-carpet interviews at industry events.
Vanniall appeared on the cover of Petite Mort Magazine as “The New American Sex Symbol” and on the August 2026 cover of DIRTY, which described her as “Porn’s New Princess.” Her projects have screened internationally, and television appearances include OutTV’s X-Rated NYC and Hot Haus.
Alongside hosting Chaturbate’s Sex Tales and publishing the Vanniall.TV lifestyle series for OFTV and YouTube, she participates in conference panels and advocates for trans rights, sex worker rights and sexual wellness. Her commentary has been featured in XBIZ, CNN, Elle, WIRED, Fortune and HuffPost.
Her Western Massachusetts operations also include Monstergirl Studio, a retreat and rental destination for trans, queer and adult creators. Readers can explore the full WIRED report, Studio Vanniall announcements and the performer’s own platforms through the links below.
