LOS ANGELES — DD White is bringing science fiction into her self-produced work with “The Droid Chronicles,” an ongoing series now streaming exclusively at DDWhiteXX.com.
The opening installment, “Measuring the Droid,” begins when White’s manufacturer husband chooses her as the model for his next project without telling her. The mechanical double becomes the foundation for a storyline designed to continue across multiple releases.
“Apparently, being married to a manufacturer comes with a few occupational hazards,” White said. She added that the format gives the couple room to keep developing the story instead of squeezing the entire premise into one video.
White said “Measuring the Droid” is only the beginning, with additional chapters planned as the secret prototype opens new creative directions for the series.
The first chapter is available now through White’s official site, where fans can also follow future installments and previews.
