Ginger Banks Challenges the Gender Divide on The Digital Social Hour

LAS VEGAS — Adult entertainer, activist and DJ Ginger Banks joined Sean Kelly’s The Digital Social Hour for a 10-versus-1 debate featuring YouTuber and political commentator Pearl Davis.

The discussion examined the Lindsay Clancy case alongside motherhood, postpartum psychosis, criminal responsibility, gender bias and the question of whether society extends excuses to women that it would not extend to men.

“When I found out I’d be sitting across from Pearl Davis, I was genuinely excited. She’s one of the most divisive voices of our generation and she’s built a platform on outrage,” says Ginger Banks. “I wanted to see what happens when someone meets that with reason and logic instead.”

Banks said the conversation quickly moved beyond one family’s tragedy and became a broader conflict between men and women. Her goal in joining the format was to push back against that polarization and argue for a more reasoned discussion.

“What stood out to me most was how fast a conversation about one family’s tragedy turned into a proxy war between men and women. Nobody wins when it becomes men against women, and I’ll keep showing up to say that. Huge thanks to Shaun for the opportunity… I’d love to come back for more topics, especially something on the anti-porn Christian movement.”

The Ginger Banks episode is available to watch on YouTube. The appearance places Banks in a debate format built around a single guest facing a rotating group of challengers on controversial social questions.
