Newcomer Raven Fox Debuts for Peter Hooke

Peter Hooke introduces Raven Fox in the dystopian AI role-play short “wAIfu.”

LOS ANGELES — Peter Hooke introduces newcomer Raven Fox in his latest cinematic role-play short, “wAIfu.”

Hooke said the concept had been on his mind for some time, blending a familiar fantasy with what he described as a relevant “incel” twist and society’s growing AI obsession. “It was a blast to film and Raven is a delight to work with; I’ll definitely be having her back,” he said.

The dystopian, near-future story follows a deadbeat gamer, played by Hooke, who relies on an AI companion, played by Fox, for daily support until overuse causes the unit to malfunction. The breakdown pushes the story toward an intense confrontation centered on control.

Shot with a simple but stylish approach, the short gives Fox an engaging first showcase for Hooke’s studio and places her screen presence at the center of the concept.

Fox praised Hooke as a supportive co-star who balanced gentleness and intensity while working to create a cinematic experience. She called the production one of her favorite taboo scenes and said she was excited for fans to see it.

The scene is streaming now at PeterHooke.com. Hooke is self-booking for outside studios and booking performers for his own productions at contact@hookedonpeter.com.
